For the second time in three weeks, Tower Security, who are empowered by TDC to issue parking tickets have been sneaking about at night in Church Square, taking advantage of the closure of the Bury to ticket hapless motorists with nowhere else to park. On Tuesday this week, one was spotted slapping a ticket on a car parked on a faded broken yellow line opposite the Social Club. When spotted, the nasty little man ran to his car which was parked on a double yellow line outside the toilets!

The surge tide a couple of weeks ago provided another opportunity to fleece motorists, this time by TDC's uniformed gestapo. Seeing the water lapping over the concrete, boat owners moved their cars out onto Mill Street only for the Traffic Monsters to start handing out tickets! This was a genuine emergency and their disgusting behaviour has outraged everyone, including the Parish Council who only requested some attendance in the Summer to stop the holidaymakers blocking up the centre of the village. Keep your eyes peeled; these meglomaniacs have taken this as carte blanche to jump on every minor infingement in order to make a pile of cash!
