car park

It looks to us as though, with the exception of the trees to block out the 1920's cottages we live in the bury is now fenced and laid out with a small car park exactly how the S family wanted in the first place. Why bother with planning applications?

the relocation of unsafe

the relocation of unsafe access has gone to appeal and letters have to be in by six weeks from 16th May.

If they win the appeal then all the shops who have postcards etc of the front view of the priory will have to re order and get beautiful photo's of rusty scaffold and builders fence!

Incidentley how come the builders fence was all removed for the wedding?

TDC Planning Applications

TDC Planning Applications showing the latest appeal to the last refusal, seems this is a bit like europe No?

Steve and Carol, what they

Steve and Carol, what they really wanted to do was block out the car park  and convert the gatehouse into aprtments which they would sell off for vast amounts. The only problem is that they have failed in their appeals and so in a tissy fit have left everything as it is and expect the villagers to doft our caps to the 'squire' to thank him for using the car park when they can be bothered to open it ! They must be laughing at all the villagers, firstly  they get a free advert in the Parish magazine (I for one won't support the cricket club as long as they sponsor it). Then the friends of the church let them open their garden this last weekend  (I boycotted open gardens for this reason) - when was the last time a St Osyth day service was held in the priory Chapel ?? Why couldn't the cricket club and the friends of the church just turn round and tell them to shove their support where the sun don't shine !
